Project Description
This grant (applied for before the Camp Fire) was awarded in September 2022, for a new generator at the WTP, plus pipeline and pump station upgrades for Zone A. The upgrades provide for redundancy in bringing water to town from the treatment plant. This is also known as the ZAPS Project.

Benefits to PID & Its Customers
A secondary distribution main will be installed so that there are two distribution mains serving the District. This will allow for one to be put offline if necessary for any repairs or maintenance that may need to be completed.
