This is a public works project. The Project contemplated consists of the installation of approximately 4,500 metered service connections, including meters, meter boxes, backflow prevention assemblies, and all related appurtenances to support the return of metered potable water service to the Paradise Irrigation District (PID, or DISTRICT).
Additionally, the project includes the replacement of up to 1,750 service laterals including service saddles, piping, and angle stops as well as all related fittings and materials required for backflow and surface restoration. The Project is intended to support rebuilding efforts following the Camp Fire of November 2018 and as a result will be structured to address locations based on community needs.

A mandatory pre-bid conference is scheduled between ENGINEER, PARADISE IRRIGATION DISTRICT and interested bidders on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at 10:00 am. Interested bidders should meet at the Paradise Irrigation District Office parking lot, located at 6332 Clark Rd, Paradise, CA 95969, at which time the project will be reviewed. The meeting will be held outside with masking, social distancing, and any other current health and safety recommendations of the State of California observed. In the event of weather, the meeting may be moved inside at the District’s discretion. All interested bidders are required to attend.
