PID committees are created to allow members of the board (less than a quorum) and staff to discuss topics in detail and provide suggestions for action by the full board. The chairperson of the committee provides a meeting report to the full board at the next regular board meeting. Committee recommendations requiring board authorization will be placed on the regular meeting agenda for action.
